CEDAR GROVE, W.Va. (AP) - Two schools in Kanawha County have canceled classes following a diesel fuel spill.

Media outlets report that a food delivery truck spilled the fuel behind Cedar Grove Elementary School on Wednesday. The school and Cedar Grove Middle School dismissed students early.

Kanawha County deputy emergency manager C.W. Sigman says an estimated 25 to 30 gallons of diesel fuel spilled. He says the fuel isn’t considered a fire hazard.

Vicki Deviese with Kanawha County Schools says the schools were evacuated as a precaution.
