CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming Supreme Court has denied an appeal from a Casper man convicted of shooting his wife to death after she fled to a neighbor’s house during an argument in 2013.

The Casper Star Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1F659L0 ) that Thomas Lee Miller filed the appeal shortly after he was sentenced to 60 years to life in prison for the murder of Natalie Miller.

In his appeal, Miller says the prosecution did not prove he acted with malice - a deciding factor in his second degree murder conviction.

The Supreme Court decision says the case Miller referenced in his appeal was decided after Miller was sentenced and therefore was inapplicable.
