NEW YORK (AP) - Daniel L. Master Jr. is now the acting district attorney on Staten Island.
Master was sworn in on Tuesday afternoon. He’s been the borough’s chief assistant D.A. for 11 years.
His predecessor, Republican Dan Donovan, became a congressman on Tuesday. Donovan was Staten Island D.A. for more than a decade.
Master received his law degree from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in history from Rutgers College.
