SUPERIOR, Ariz. (AP) - Pinal County authorities say an 82-year-old man escaped serious injury when his pickup truck went off a highway near Superior and down a 30-foot embankment.
The Sheriff’s Office says its search and rescue unit led a multi-agency effort to rescue the man Wednesday morning.
The research team used a basket and ropes to transport the man back up to the road. His injuries were described as non-life threatening.
Other agencies involved included the Arizona Department of Public and multiple fire departments.
