WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A man has been accused of sexually assaulting two young girls in Milford over nearly a year.

The News Journal of Wilmington (https://delonline.us/1ctryYL ) reports 61-year-old Francisco Ysaguirre was arrested in Wilmington on Tuesday by U.S. Marshals and the Wilmington Police Department.

Police say Ysaguirre sexually abused two girls, both under the age of 12, from May 2014 to March.

Milford Detective Dwight Young says the girls told relatives what was going on and Ysaguirre fled to Texas after he was made aware that others were suspicious.

Ysaguirre was charged with more than 20 charges, including seven rape charges. He’s being held at Sussex Correctional Institution and it is unclear if he has a lawyer.
