ALBERTVILLE, Minn. (AP) - Authorities say no one was seriously injured when a school bus filled with young students collided with a Wright County sheriff’s squad car.

The crash happened Tuesday afternoon near the St. Michael and Albertville border.

WCCO-TV (https://cbsloc.al/1Fk90rg ) reports about 40 kindergarten-age children were on the bus when it crashed into the squad car. The State Patrol says only one child complained of a thumb injury.

The driver of the squad, a 34-year-old deputy, was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The bus driver wasn’t injured.
