BELL, Calif. (AP) - A Los Angeles County commuter bus and a car have collided on a rainy street, injuring eight people.
Metro spokesman Marc Littman says a car coming off of a freeway struck the bus around 2:30 p.m. in the Los Angeles suburb of Bell.
Littman says seven people on the bus were injured and five of them were taken to a hospital. He says the driver of the car also was taken to the hospital.
There’s no word on their conditions.
Littman says it was raining at the time of the crash but it’s not immediately clear if the weather played a role in the accident.
