MIAMI, Okla. (AP) - Police in Miami (my-AM’-uh) say an Afton man has been killed in an industrial accident in the northeastern Oklahoma City.
Police Chief Thomas Anderson told The Miami News-Record that 50-year-old Tracy Allen Williams died shortly after 5 a.m. Thursday in the accident at Scepter USA Manufacturing.
Anderson said it appears Williams was working on a machine when it slid and crushed him on a steel beam.
Scepter USA makes plastics items, including portable fuel containers. The company did not immediately return phone calls for comment on the accident.
