MILLEN, Ga. (AP) - An aluminum processing company is planning to expand in eastern Georgia and create 100 jobs.

Gov. Nathan Deal said in a statement Wednesday that MI Metals is planning to expand operations in Millen - about 50 miles south of Augusta.

Deal says the company is expanding its fabrication and extrusion plant by about 120,000 square feet.

The company is expecting to invest roughly $2 million in the expansion over the next three years.
