ATLANTA (AP) - Atlanta city officials say they’ll comply with a court order to implement police reforms that were part of a 2012 settlement.

A federal judge held the city in contempt Wednesday for violating part of an order that was issued after the city settled a lawsuit filed by a woman who was arrested for recording police activity in 2011.

A city spokeswoman said in a statement that the police department has amended 11 standard operating procedures and complied with a majority of the court order.

Officials say the department accidentally omitted one section of a standard operating procedure until December and that led to the judge’s contempt order. Officials say the oversight has been addressed and officers have been trained on the policy.
