CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A 32-year-old Casper man has denied charges that he stabbed another man multiple times at the home of a woman who had an order of protection against him.

The Casper Star-Tribune newspaper reports (https://bit.ly/1IDbQ9K ) Robert Allen Snyder pleaded not guilty Wednesday to attempted second-degree murder for the March 8 stabbing of 28-year-old Kevin Simmons. Prosecutors allege Snyder argued with the woman before stabbing Simmons 13 times in the arms, chest and back.

Court records say Snyder surrendered to Natrona County authorities and admitted he stabbed Simmons.

At the time of the stabbing, Snyder was on probation for violating the protective order and free on bond on a charge he had violated it a second time.

He remains jailed with his bail set at $100,000.
