Change of command planned for Coast Guard cutter Munro

KODIAK, Alaska (AP) - The Coast Guard cutter Munro is getting a new commanding officer.

A change of command ceremony is scheduled for Friday in Kodiak.

The Coast Guard says Capt. Sam R. Jordan will relieve Capt. Jeff W. Thomas, who is transferring to the Coast Guard’s mid-Atlantic region.
