DRACUT, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say a Dracut man has died from injuries suffered in a fire in a backyard shed.

The fire department responded to a 911 call about the fire at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Upon arrival, they found the victim with life threatening injuries. The victim was later flown to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston where he was pronounced dead. His name was not made public.

The cause remains under investigation, but does not appear to be suspicious.

The Sun of Lowell reports that two of the 58-year-old victim’s neighbors pulled him from the burning shed, suffering burns themselves. One spent the night in the hospital.
