HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - Erika Brennan has been named head coach of the women’s golf program at the University of Southern Mississippi.
The university, in a news release Wednesday, said Brennan becomes the program’s fourth head coach. She replaces Julie Gallup, who retired at the end of the spring season after 15 years of service.
Director of Athletics Bill McGillis says Brennan brings outstanding skills and experience to the program. She spent five years as head coach at Saint Leo University, building that program into one of the premier Division II programs in the country. She also served as an assistant at the University of Tennessee.
