RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont woman has pleaded guilty to bank and wire fraud charges accusing her of embezzling $70,000 from the Brandon Inn where she worked as front desk manager.

Thirty-nine-year-old Carmen Dozier had originally pleaded not guilty in February. The Rutland Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1L2vgVh ) that she changed her plea on Tuesday.

Court records say between July 2013 and May 2014 Dozier falsified payroll records to inflate the hours she worked; transferred inn funds to her personal bank account and used credit cards issued to the inn’s owners to make personal purchases.

Dozier is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 14.
