KINGWOOD, W.Va. (AP) - A former Kingwood chiropractor has been sentenced to up 10 years in prison on sex charges involving a minor.
A Preston County jury convicted 48-year-old Stephen Dwight Herto in January on charges of soliciting a minor by computer, using obscene material to solicit a minor and sexual abuse by a person of trust.
Media outlets report that Herto was sentenced on Wednesday in Preston County Circuit Court.
Herto was accused of asking a teenage patient for sex and touching her inappropriately during an office visit.
