ELYRIA, Ohio (AP) - A judge has set a $2 million bond for a northeast Ohio woman charged with murder in the suffocation death of her adult daughter.
Forty-five-year-old Janet Tyburski of Lakewood didn’t enter a plea Thursday during a hearing in Elyria (eh-LEER’-ee-uh) Municipal Court. Her case was bound over to Lorain County, where it will be presented to a grand jury.
She is charged with killing 26-year-old Rachele Tyburski on March 13 at her home and then dumping her body in a field in Lorain County two days later.
Police have said the mother may have had help dumping the body. A coroner ruled Rachele Tyburski died of suffocation. A relative said Rachele Tyburski had bipolar disorder and that Janet Tyburski cared for her 4-year-old son.
Janet Tyburski doesn’t have an attorney.
