LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police say three more arrests have been made in the investigation of the death of a man on his birthday in Lexington.

Police were called early Wednesday and found Roy E. “Hooch” Combs dead of a gunshot wound. WKYT-TV said he turned 26 Wednesday.

Police say Combs died in a shooting after a fight.



Police arrested 46-year-old Don E. Attaway of Richmond and charged him with murder.

On Thursday, state police said 45-year-old Kristi A. Mattingly of Richmond was arrested and charged with murder and attempted murder. Police said Ohio authorities arrested two Richmond residents Wednesday night and that they are awaiting extradition to Kentucky. They won’t be officially charged until their return.
