NEW YORK (AP) - Melanie Leslie has been named dean of New York’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
Her appointment was announced Thursday by Yeshiva University President Richard M. Joel.
She’ll be the first woman and the first Cardozo graduate to serve in the position.
She’s currently the vice dean and a professor there. She’s described as a leading scholar in trusts and estates law.
She starts the job on July 1.
