SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - Springfield police have identified two men whose bodies were found in a motel.

Police said in a release Thursday that hotel employees found the men’s bodies in separate rooms at the hotel on Saturday. Police identified the men as 45-year-old Gerrit Strydom and 44-year-old James Bethel.

Police say the men are from South Africa and had been riding motorcycles across the U.S.

The cause of death remains under investigation, though police say there were no signs of foul play.
