PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - Police are looking for a man who robbed a credit union in Portland.
Police say the man displayed a handgun and demanded money at the University Credit Union Thursday afternoon and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was last seen running down Taft Avenue. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a slender black man, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and wearing a hat, sunglasses and what appeared to be a fake mustache. Police say he was also wearing a North Face jacket with a hood, gloves and a baseball hat with white letter.
Anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity at the time of the robbery shortly before 3 p.m. is asked to contact the Portland police at 207-874-8533 or 874-8575.
