PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - Prescott police say a man is facing charges after he allegedly stabbed a man during a fight at a storage facility.

Police say Donald Robertson has been booked for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct after the Tuesday night altercation.

According to the 46-year-old victim, he was helping a friend and noticed a pitbull barking at his dog, which was inside a vehicle.

Police say the victim retrieved a small baseball bat and struck the pitbull when it got close to him.

That is when Robertson allegedly stabbed the victim in the stomach with a knife. The victim then hit Robertson in the head twice.

The victim was flown to a Phoenix hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown.

It was not known if Robertson had an attorney.
