FORT VALLEY, Ga. (AP) - Federal investigators have increased a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a rape and burglary suspect in middle Georgia.
Officials with the FBI’s Atlanta field office said in a statement Thursday that the agency is offering a reward of up to $7,500 for information on the suspect. Officials say the reward is in addition to $2,500 that is already being offered by Fort Valley and Peach County law enforcement.
Officials say five homes were broken into within three days in early April and two women were raped during the attacks.
Authorities say anyone with information on the suspect may contact Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68-CRIME or leave tips online.
