ATLANTA (AP) - Atlanta public transit officials say five of six people who were injured in a bus crash have been released from the hospital.

MARTA spokeswoman Alisa Jackson says a 65-year-old man remains hospitalized after a bus was clipped by a CSX freight train Wednesday afternoon in East Point, south of Atlanta.

Jackson says the 38-year-old bus operator was also injured and is on paid administrative leave during an investigation into the crash. Jackson says the driver has worked for MARTA since 2009.

East Point police have said they’re looking for the driver of a red pickup truck that stopped in front of the bus before the crash.

CSX spokeswoman Kristin Seay says all safety mechanisms including crossing gates and warning lights were working properly at the time of the crash.
