HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) - A western Maryland man is being held without bail in the shooting of a woman found dead in the driveway of his rural Sharpsburg home.
Twenty-eight-year-old Shaun Frazier was charged Thursday with first- and second-degree murder and a firearm violation in the death Wednesday night of 24-year-old Lena Titus of Hagerstown.
Frazier couldn’t be reached for comment. No defense attorney is listed in court records.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says Frazier had a shotgun when he was arrested around 4 a.m. Thursday in the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park after a seven-hour search. The park parallels the Potomac River near Frazier’s home, located between the river and the Antietam National Battlefield about 60 miles west of Baltimore.
The shooting was reported shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday.
