ATLANTA (AP) - Atlanta police say that two people have died after a shooting in northwest Atlanta.
Multiple news outlets report two people were shot Thursday night. One of the two victims was transported to Grady Medical Center in critical condition where he later died. The other was pronounced dead on scene.
While police were investigating, reporters say a quick succession of nearly three dozen gunshots were fired in the location where the initial attack occurred. No injuries are reported following the second shooting.
It is unclear if anyone is in custody in connection with the shootings or who the victims are.
