PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities have released the names of two men who were fatally struck by an SUV driven by a teenager in northwest Phoenix.

Phoenix police say 58-year-old Bradley Hanauer and 31-year-old Daniel Mills were having a roadside conversation Thursday night when they were hit.

They say both men were rushed to a Phoenix hospital, but died from their injuries.

Police say the SUV’s 17-year-old driver stayed at the accident scene near 34th Avenue and Deer Valley Road and was cooperating with investigators.

The boy’s name wasn’t immediately released Friday.

Police say alcohol use may have been a factor in the fatal accident and their investigating is continuing.
