BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Police say the driver of a pharmaceutical delivery van was carjacked by three men in Alabama, including one posing as a police officer.

Birmingham Police spokesman Lt. Sean Edwards tells Al.com (https://bit.ly/1H6YXkf) that the driver of the van was pulled over by a vehicle with red flashing lights early Friday on Interstate 65.

Edwards says one of the men wearing a black t-shirt that read “police” told the driver to move over while another man wearing a mask also got into the van. A third man followed in the other car.

He says the delivery driver was let out of the van about 45 minutes later when he called police. Authorities later found the van on fire in a Midfield residential area.

Police haven’t reported any arrests.
