WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) - A former Westchester County bank teller has been sentenced to two to six years in prison for stealing customer information in an identity-theft scheme.

The Journal News reports (https://lohud.us/1IBUw6P ) 24-year-old Nadia Figueroa was sentenced Thursday after she pleaded guilty in February to grand larceny.

Authorities say she and two other bank tellers stole personal information from customers who had more than $50,000 in their accounts. They took the information to two Bronx men who used the data to create bogus checks and identification documents.

Using those documents, the men impersonated the bank customers and took money from their accounts. Authorities say they stole more than $850,000 from bank customers.
