HERNANDO, Miss. (AP) - Andrea Freeze, Horn Lake’s city administrator since 2007, is replacing the retiring Tom Arnold as chief financial officer for DeSoto County.

The Commercial Appeal reports (https://bit.ly/1K9RuHm) Freeze, who will begin her new duties June 8, returns to a role more in line with her background as city accountant for Southaven. After moving to neighboring Horn Lake in December 2007, she took on a more varied role overseeing administrative matters.

Freeze is one of several departures from key administrative roles in Horn Lake. Austin Cardosi, the city’s planner, is becoming deputy planner for the county, effective June 3, at a salary of $52,500, and parks director Deljuan Robinson moved to a role in Southaven and is being replaced in-house by Larry Calvert, a Horn Lake police officer with a parks background.
