ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Central Florida’s newest tourist attraction, the Orlando Eye observation wheel, was temporarily closed because of a technical problem but has since reopened.
The closure was announced Friday afternoon on the attraction’s website, but it was up and running again that evening.
The attraction opened to much fanfare earlier this month when daredevil tight rope walker Nik Wallenda walked across the rim of the rotating 400-foot Orlando Eye without a tether.
