WAYNE, N.J. (AP) - Police in northern New Jersey have charged a Pennsylvania man with vehicular homicide in a motorcycle crash that killed his female passenger.

Police say 22-year-old Dalton Garr of Bangor, Pennsylvania, was driving the bike when he crashed into a concrete barrier in Wayne on Sunday, killing 39-year-old Jennifer Collins of Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania.

Garr was initially charged with driving while intoxicated.



The Record (https://bit.ly/1GbH4op ) newspaper reports police Lt. Dan Daly said in a statement that Garr is charged with death by auto and with causing death while unlicensed.

He’s in custody and it’s not known if he has a lawyer.
