SEATTLE (AP) - Owner of Super Mauro Brothers Plumbing was in the middle of working on a home when he came face-to-face with a suspected criminal, who he took down and held in time for police to arrive.

KOMO-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1A4MnoE) that Mauro Egidi had noticed tools missing from his van when he was at the Seattle home Sunday.

Egidi returned the next day and saw 42-year-old Timothy Johnson going into the back of his utility van.

Egidi approached the man and was able to get the suspect to the ground where he held him for about 5 minutes, until police arrived.

Detectives recognized the suspect who had felony warrants out for his arrest including burglary, stolen guns, and unlawful possession of firearms. He is being held on $200,000 bail.
