REDFIELD, Ark. (AP) - The Pulaski County coroner says a 5 -year-old boy who was shot at his home in central Arkansas has died.
Coroner Gerone Hobbs said the boy died Friday. He said state officials will determine the cause of death.
Arkansas State Police previously said the child was critically wounded by a gunshot at his home in Redfield. The agency says the shooting involves a sibling, who authorities believe shot the victim.
It’s unclear where or how the child was shot.
Police have not released the identity of either child.
Redfield is about 30 miles south of Little Rock.
