BELLE CHASSE, La. (AP) - The Louisiana Air National Guard will welcome a new commander for its 159th Fighter Wing Sunday.

A change of command ceremony will be held at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Belle Chasse. Incoming commander Col. Shawn M. Coco will take over from outgoing commander Col. Thomas P Sostarics. Coco is currently the wing’s second-in-command.

The wing includes the 122nd Fighter Squadron and is the Louisiana air guard’s only flying unit, with more than 1,500 men and women supporting F-15 fighters.
