JOHNSTON, R.I. (AP) - A man has been injured in an early morning house fire in Johnston.
Fire Chief Tim McLaughlin tells WLNE-TV (https://bit.ly/1Kd8Kvb) that firefighters responded to the fire at about 5 a.m. on Saturday on Pine Lane. They found the man with second- and third-degree burns.
He was taken to a hospital.
McLaughlin said the fire started in a back bedroom and did not spread. He said the fire is under investigation but does not seem suspicious.
