SPARTA, Wis. (AP) - The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal logging accident in western Wisconsin.
Authorities were called to the scene on County Highway Y in the Town of Leon around 12:45 p.m. Friday. They arrived to find a 38-year-old man dead from being run over by a piece of logging equipment.
The victim’s name has not been released pending notification of relatives.
