DIXON, Ill. (AP) - Organizers hope Ronald Reagan movie night will become a regular feature at the late president’s childhood home.

The Dixon Telegraph reports (https://bit.ly/1EL20Nq) movie night at the Reagan Boyhood Home will kick off May 27 with “Santa Fe Trail,” starring Reagan, Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland.

Brandi Langner of the Reagan home is seeking financial sponsors to regularly stage movie nights.

Visitors may bring lawn chairs, blankets or other seating. If it rains, the movie will be in the nearby visitor’s center.

“Santa Fe Trail” is the story of Confederate Army General J.E.B. Stuart and his pre-Civil War exploits, including his friendship with George Custer, played by Reagan.

Reagan had a long film and television career before entering politics in the 1960s.
