CHICAGO (AP) - Former President Bill Clinton plans to attend Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s inauguration ceremony Monday in Chicago.

A representative from the Clinton Foundation confirmed Sunday that the former president will be at the event.

The ceremony for the mayor, 50 aldermen and citywide elected officials will be held at the Chicago Theatre. This will be the Emanuel’s second inauguration as mayor.

Emanuel and Clinton have a long history together. Emanuel went to work for Clinton in the early 1990s when he was governor of Arkansas and Emanuel later served in senior positions in the White House during the president’s two terms in office.

Hillary Clinton has announced she is seeking the Democratic nomination for president.
