DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - A 4-year-old boy has drowned in a pond at an apartment complex in western Ohio.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called an apartment complex in Washington Township Sunday evening on a report of a boy who had been found in a pond.
When emergency responders arrived on the scene they began CPR on the boy. He was then taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The sheriff’s office continues to investigate.
