SANTEE, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say a small plane made an emergency landing on a San Diego County street and struck a pickup truck.

Sheriff’s officials said no one was injured in Saturday morning’s accident on Prospect Avenue in Santee.

U-T San Diego (https://bit.ly/1RVp5Hl) reports the single-propeller Piper Cherokee was headed from the Phoenix area to Montgomery Field in Kearny Mesa when a mechanical problem occurred. The pilot decided to divert the plane to Gillespie Field in Cajon, just south of Santee, when it came down on the busy street.

KGTV-TV reports one of the plane’s wings was damaged and the truck sustained a minor damage.
