BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - The city of Buffalo’s waterfront improvements continue with the launch of a bicycle ferry.
The maiden voyage is scheduled for Monday morning.
Cyclists and pedestrians will be able to catch a ride from the Canalside recreational area to the Outer Harbor and its miles of waterfront trails.
The state-funded Queen City Bike Ferry is expected to charge $1 for each trip across the Buffalo River.
It will operate through Labor Day.
