WOODSTOCK, Maine (AP) - Police in Maine say they have arrested a 19-year-old Woodstock man in connection with two fires at seasonal homes on the street where he lives.

Jordan Caldwell faces two counts of arson and burglary. Police say they arrested him Saturday and took him to Oxford County Jail.

Fire marshals say Caldwell broke into one of the homes and set fire on March 26. The house burned to the ground. They say the second fire was Friday and will likely result in the house being torn down. Fire marshals say the total damage will exceed $500,000.

Caldwell lives with his parents near the two homes. He is also charged with stealing items from the houses. It was not clear Monday if he had an attorney.
