WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a man who was injured when he was punched during a fight in Wilmington has died.

Troopers said in a news release Monday that 49-year-old Kevin Norris died Saturday at Christiana Hospital, where he was taken after the assault on April 28. Authorities say an autopsy determined the cause of death to be blunt force trauma to the head.

Police say the medical examiner ruled the death a homicide.

Police say Norris got into an argument with another man in a parking lot on Newport Gap Pike. Troopers the man punched Norris, who fell and his head on the asphalt.

Authorities say the other man drove away from the scene.
