BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) - A student born with a disease that causes muscle degeneration is graduating college with three degrees - at the age of 20.

The Morning Call reports (https://bit.ly/1AgdhcS) Mathew Kilgore will graduate Monday from Lehigh University with bachelor’s degrees in math and computer science and a master’s degree in math after starting college at 16.

He plans to pursue a doctorate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology working on research and equations.

The Upper Macungie Township resident, located about 50 miles northwest of Philadelphia, was born with spinal muscular atrophy that makes moving his arms difficult. He has to use a wheelchair and a voice enhancer with a microphone to help people understand him.
