ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A light earthquake was felt across a large part of southcentral Alaska on Monday morning but there were no immediate reports of damage.
The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says the magnitude 4.3 quake was recorded at 7:49 a.m. in the Cook Inlet region.
It was centered about 30 miles southeast of Talkeetna and located at a depth of about 14 miles.
Authorities say in a release the quake was felt by residents across a hundred-mile area, from Talkeetna to Anchorage.
