WEBSTER, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities have released the names of two people who were killed when their car crashed outside Rochester over the weekend.

Police in the town of Webster tell the Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester (https://on.rocne.ws/1Fthcpd ) that 26-year-old Leah Andrews and 24-year-old Torin Bond died after their car left the road, went up a dirt embankment and struck a tree Saturday morning.

Police say both victims were living in Rochester, but were not natives to the area.

Officers say Andrews was driving the vehicle when it crashed on Lake Road along in a hilly section of town a few miles northeast of Rochester.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
