SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - A Spartanburg County sheriff’s deputy has been hurt in a wreck.

Multiple media outlets reported the wreck happened around 10 p.m. Sunday near Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Sheriff’s Lt. Kevin Bobo said a deputy responding to a robbery call was struck by another vehicle.

The deputy’s car overturned. Bobo says the officer suffered minor cuts on the top of his head.

The other driver was not hurt.
