PHOENIX (AP) - A self-employed physical therapist from Peoria has pleaded not guilty to charges accusing him of sexually assaulting a female patient.

A Maricopa County Superior Court spokesman said Edward Ralph Hunter entered his pleas Monday.

Glendale police said previously that the victim reported being assaulted during an April 16 appointment for treatment of neck and back pain and that Hunter made incriminating statements during their investigation.
