The conference announced Tuesday that Jaylen Bacon and Kristina Knott were named Most Outstanding Freshmen. Head Coach Jim Patchell was chosen the Women’s Track and Field Coach of the Year after leading the team to its first women’s outdoor championship since 2001.

Pienaar, Bacon and Knott picked up the same distinctions during the indoor season.

The Red Wolves had nine women and seven men combine for 21 top-three finishes in their event to earn All-Conference honors.
